Inclusion Facilitator (K-12)
Inclusion Facilitators will work with a K-12 school-based team to implement changes in school instruction and processes as well as individualized student-centered planning. Facilitators take ownership of a few schools and lead the school-based implementation team through the change process. Using individual, school-based action plans, Facilitators develop and provide professional learning opportunities for educators, administrators, and other school staff on strategies to include students with disabilities. Facilitators design and conduct workshops, facilitate small groups in planning and problem-solving, coach individuals and school teams, and develop a variety of learning options to accommodate a variety of adult learner needs.
PBIS Implementation Consultant
PBIS Implementation Facilitator will provide consultation and training sessions for a school district in the south-western region of New Jersey. The school district in question has had PBIS implementation processes in the past, but not all schools in their district implemented with fidelity or sustainability. We need personnel who understand tiered interventions and how to implement them; how to coach teachers and interface with administrators. The bulk of the work will be preparing the schools for later implementation of PBIS and primarily developing class-wide and school-wide supports and interventions at Tier 1.
